So I came across this video that debuted recently for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Insane, at least in my opinion. I know the guys on IGN didn’t like it all that much, I think they called it boring. But for a motion graphics person like myself, it’s eye candy overload. It reminds me of Daredevil a little bit too, but more edgy.
So I figured I’d put my other personal project on hold and do an homage to this commercial with Transformers as the theme, especially with Transformers the movie 2 right around the corner.
I’ll update this post as more goes on. I think I’ll pull a little Stan Bush out of the wood works for the soundtrack. I figured while I was at in making this post I’d do a quick teaser for my homage. I used the Mutemath theme song version used in the movie.

Nothing major to report here, but picked up another client and threw a teaser site up for them. Effects done in After Effects and then ported over to Flash. The look was inspired by the Proclaim site. Link: Next Step Entertainment Time Frame: 1 Day
So I was sitting at my desk today and trying to figure out a couple things out as the day got started. Was also wishing I had me a venti berry latte, mmm yummy. Had nothing really on the horizon that had to get done for any clients immediately. So I was curious about doing [...]
Update: Client has contracted me to do a video to go along with this project to be shown on the site and in churches. I was approached by Val Pina and Rich Perron (commissioners of the Rhode Island Christian Basketball Association) to help them in re-branding and rebuilding their web presence. Previously, they had a [...]
So I’ve been a fan of all these fan made videos (otherwise known as AMVs or FMVs for short) for anime and video games and a fan of anime itself for a long time. I figured its time for me to contribute my two cents to this wonderful world of homages. So I’m going to [...]
This was a fun project to do. Originally designed in Flash, I was brought in to complete the project. After having some time to go over the brief and what was completed I made the bold decision to recommend to the client to scrap the project and do it in After Effects. Originally the project [...]
While working at identityTruth, it forced me to step up my game a tremendous amount. While there, I created a number of marketing materials for the company, a new website, several videos, and advertising widgets. Link: identityTruth Time Frame: 2 Weeks
This was done as a competition amongst other designers for Ubisoft’s game Haze. All content was provided by Ubisoft such as game play footage, images, and music which was supplied by Korn. After evaluating what the game was about and what kind of images were supplied, I went to work cutting up a lot of [...]
