So I’ve been a fan of all these fan made videos (otherwise known as AMVs or FMVs for short) for anime and video games and a fan of anime itself for a long time.  I figured its time for me to contribute my two cents to this wonderful world of homages.  So I’m going to make my own based on the anime Naruto, but one that took more time than just simple jump cuts and dissolves.  So far I’ve gotten some good ideas on paper on what I want to do to tell the story and have some great music which I thank TelevisionTunes.com for.  There’s a lot of techniques I’ve always wanted to try and couldn’t until this personal project, so it kind of gives me an excuse to try them out.  I’ve been around the block a few times and I think this is a great example of AMV.  It’s Gundam Wing being shown to Kryptonite.  It tells the whole story in course of the song and matches the words to a point or at least the theme.

Oh and I’m doing my FMV with Shippuden footage just because of the availability of it.  I know a lot of people out there have opinions on the series and what not, curious to hear what you think if I should just stick to Naruto.
