Most stock 4x4s with low range should be okay, with some careful tire placement. Follow that nearly 16 miles back to the ghost town of Saint Elmo. First of all: this is an EASY trail. You can take the snowmobile that you rent anywhere that you desire, as long as you return by the time your rental is due. My FunTreks manual has that section rated as "difficult", mostly due to the rocky section at the pass. We ride Tincup Pass to St. Elmo.
